Wings I

Recent drawings of birds in flight inspired the wings. Made almost entirely from off-cuts from another project. The plinth is made from a decommissioned oak beam from Francesca's farmhouse in France.
Wings I can easily be installed in the ground by burying to a depth of 2ft and can be concreted in the ground for further stability. Treated with an anti-rust varnish with will need to be occasionally reapplied.
